The Progression Solution™: Level 2
Intermediate–Advanced Warm-Up Training for Dance Instructors Ready to Optimize Performance.
Dancers in 2026 are more athletic than ever before — yet many warm-ups still lack what current research tells us about maximizing results and improving performance.
mUvmethod is built on performance optimization. We know what works. We’ve been teaching it for over 12 years.

Enroll in Level 2The Problem:
Many teachers struggle with creating warm-ups that truly get results that today’s dancers need.
Dancers are stronger. More flexible. More competitive. More athletic.
But many warm-ups are still built around:
- Repetition without progression
- Flexibility without strength
- Mobility without stability
- Conditioning without structure
And when we chase mobility without building the strength and stability to support it, we create the Mobility–Stability Paradox:
The more we chase mobility, the less control and artistry we actually gain.
Warm-ups should prepare dancers for performance — not just stretching. mUvmethod is built differently.
Very few teachers study anatomy the way we do. Very few programs structure warm-ups around both science and performance application. Level 2 is where that progression happens.
The Shift
If The Stretch Solution built your foundation,
The Progression Solution builds:
- Strength to support flexibility
- Stability to support mobility
- Control to support technique
- Structure to support progression
This is where warm-ups move beyond stretching — and begin building performance.

Where Level 2 Fits:
In The Stretch Solution, you learned how to implement our highly effective 20-minute stretch sequence at the beginning of your weekly classes.
The original Stretch Solution curriculum is composed of:
The 6-Minute Warm-Up
Activation and mobility to increase circulation and prepare the body.
The 14-Minute Stretch Sequence
Static and long-hold stretching (30-second holds) to reduce stretch reflex and improve baseline flexibility.
Together, they form your foundational 20-minute weekly class warm-up.
The Progression Solution: Level 2 expands this into:
- Intermediate–Advanced 20-minute warm-ups
- 30-minute warm-up formats
- Full 60-minute Stretch & Condition weekly class curriculums
An easy way to think about it:
The Stretch Solution = Beginning 20-minute weekly warm-up
The Progression Solution = Structured progression beyond it
Â
LEVEL 1 vs. LEVEL 2
Level 1: The Stretch Solution
• Foundational 20-minute weekly warm-up
• Static and long-hold stretching
• Improves baseline flexibility
• Focus on placement, stretch tolerance, and structure
• 6-minute activation + 14-minute stretch sequence
Level 2: The Progression Solution
• Intermediate–Advanced warm-up formats
• Dynamic, static, eccentric, and isometric training
• Core stability + strength emphasis
• Standing leg strength, power, and balance
• 20-, 30-, and 60-minute structured class curriculums
If you are just getting started → Begin with Level 1.
If you’ve been teaching the sequence consistently and your dancers are ready to progress → Level 2 is your next step.Â
What You'll Learn:
This training breaks down our complete Level 2 warm-up system.
You will learn:
• What type of stretching to use when, where, and for what outcome
• How to create a warm-up that builds strength, stability, flexibility, and mobility
• How to improve dancers’ proprioception, standing leg strength, and balance
• How to strengthen the deep core + maintain proper hip and spinal alignment
• How to safely implement dynamic and eccentric training
• How to structure 20-, 30-, and 60-minute formats
You will receive step-by-step instructional breakdowns and full class demonstrations that you can begin teaching immediately.
Â
The Five-Stage Level 2 Structure
Our LV2 warm-up is broken into five stages:
Stage 1: Dynamic Warm-Up
Controlled dynamic movement to prepare joints and tissues.
Stage 2: Core Conditioning
Developing both core strength and core stability, including deep postural muscles and larger global muscles.
Stage 3: Dynamic, Static, and Eccentric Stretching
Layering stretch methods for flexibility with integrity.
Stage 4: Standing Leg Strength, Stability, Power, and Balance
Addressing strength deficits to support technique and reduce injury risk.
Stage 5: Dynamic Stretching, Eccentric Training + Isometric Holds
Building flexibility with control and muscular support.
Each stage includes instructional breakdowns and full-sequence class videos.
Weekly Class Curriculum Included
Level 2 provides three class formats:
20-Minute Class Warm-Ups:
Designed for studios ready to progress beyond the foundational 20-minute stretch sequence taught in The Stretch Solution.
30-Minute Class Warm-Ups:
Extended formats emphasizing either strength or flexibility.
60-Minute Stretch & Condition Classes:
A full stand-alone weekly class broken into an 8-week lesson plan for easy implementation.
The 60-minute class complements your weekly warm-up — it does not replace it.
It can be implemented whether you are still teaching Level 1 or transitioning into Level 2.
Â
Implementation Made Clear
If you are just getting started:
Use the 20-minute Stretch Solution sequence as your weekly class warm-up in technique classes, combo classes, and rehearsals.
If you’ve been teaching it for 6–12 months and your dancers are ready to progress:
Begin implementing:
- Level 2 20-minute formats
- 30-minute formats
- The full 60-minute Stretch & Condition curriculum
These can be rotated weekly or assigned by level, age, or program track.
Certification
Upon completion of The Progression Solution: Level 2, you will:
• Understand intermediate–advanced warm-up structuring
• Confidently implement strength, stability, and flexibility in balance
• Teach progression safely and effectively
• Continue building performance-based warm-ups within your studio
